List of police personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty in the past years

Sri. Vijayakrishnan, SI, Kalikavu PS, Malappuram

On 12/09/10 the complainant Sri. Manoharan, SI of Police, Kalikavu and SI Sri. Vijayakrishnan and party reached the house of one MujeebRahman at Pedayanthal for executing a warrant from family court, Malappuram in CMP 888/09 in which MujeebRahman is the accused. When reached the house of Mujeebrahman, he pointed an un licensed country made gun towards SI and party including SI Vijayakrishnan and shoot them with an intention to kill them and SI Vijayakrishnan was died due to the gun shot etc facts.

Sri. Radhakrishnan. C, SI, Tanur PS, Malappuram

On 07.04.2015, Sri. Radhakrishnan C, SI of Police, Tanur Police Station, while on law and order patrolling duty in department vehicle, was hit on an electric post while trying to save the life of a negligently rode motor cyclist and the electric post broke down upon the vehicle and he got injured grievously  

Smt. Rajamani Mannancheri, Parappanangadi PS, Malappuram

On 20/04/2021 Smt. Rajamani Mannancheri met an accident while on duty and died on the way to hospital.

Sri. Sabarudheen. M. P, SCPO(G) 5305 of Thanur Police Control Room

On 07-05-2023 SCPO(G)5305 Sabarudheen M.P, Thanur Police Control Room and DANSAF team member of Thanur Sub Division, as per the instruction of DySP Thanur he has been called at tourist places of Thanur Ottumpuram, Poorapuzha for identifying narcotic usage among tourists, he drowned while travelling in a boat "Atlantic" capsized in the Poorapuzha estuary around 7 PM. 22 people lost their lives in this mishap.
